Thu Nov 06, 2014 | 12:00am

For the fourth year in a row, the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition is putting on its Light Up the Night campaign and distributing 1,400 free bike lights to low-income cyclists. Cosponsored by the City of Santa Barbara and Measure A Partner Jurisdictions, and powered by 30 volunteers, the yearly initiative is meant to increase the safety and visibility of riders who use bicycles as their primary mode of transportation.
