The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to find the suspects who broke into the Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital construction site at the 5300 block of Hollister Avenue and stole approximately $50,000 worth of construction tools and supplies. According to a Sheriff’s Office press release, the thefts occurred sometime over the weekend from Saturday, October 24 – Monday, October 26. A construction worker reported the crime early Monday morning after he realized the site’s front gate was open and that seven storage containers had been broken into.
