Man Identified in Chase Palm Park Death

Alan Hunterman, 57, is the Santa Barbara street person who died near the carousel at Chase Palm Park on the rainy afternoon of February 17. Emergency personnel found Hunterman — who city police say had recently been treated for an illness at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital — dead inside his sleeping bag. His death is being investigated as due to natural causes.
