The Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 for a 3 percent salary increase for themselves at their Tuesday, October 2, meeting. Fourth District Supervisor Peter Adam voted against the increase but commented, “it’s not totally unreasonable.” Their motion will also implement a 0.83 percent pension cost-sharing pickup. With the 3 percent increase, Supervisors will make approximately $97,327 annually, according to County Chief of Employee Relations Joe Pisano.

Editor’s Note: The brief was corrected October 4, 2018. The article incorrectly stated the vote was unanimous and incorrectly reported Adam received the highest salary. According to the County Chief of Employee Relations Joe Pisano, all supervisors receive the same pay.
