Green & Blue: A Coastal Celebration

After two years of hosting a virtual event, we are excited to gather in person once again outside in the beautiful gardens of Rancho La Patera & Stow House in Goleta! Our biggest fundraiser of the year, Green & Blue, will have a silent auction packed full of unique items, an exciting live auction, a short program with Environmental Heroes and special guests, and delicious food and beverages. We look forward to celebrating all we have accomplished together.

Green & Blue refers to the majestic Santa Barbara Channel and the precious coastal lands that frame the sea, providing homes and recreation for all of us to enjoy. Through this event, the Environmental Defense Center celebrates 45 years of work to protect our clean air, clean water, open space, and the many creatures who share this region with us. Since 1977, EDC has successfully saved more than 100,000 acres of precious open space, terminated 40 offshore oil leases, and defeated proposals for three major liquefied natural gas projects, among many other victories.

The Environmental Defense Center is more than a law firm, representing grassroots charitable organizations to preserve what makes this such a special place to live, work and play. We work in the public interest and empower individuals and organizations to participate in efforts to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy this bounty, long after we are gone.
