Adding to one of the region’s wettest rainy seasons yet, another significant storm drenched Santa Barbara County this weekend, shutting down major roadways and the Santa Barbara Airport and tragically taking the life of at least one man who was swept away by a surging creek. Independent photographer Ingrid Bostrom captured some of the storm’s impacts on the region — as well as several dramatic shots taken in Montecito of the morning’s coinciding king tide — which can be seen below, along with photos shared by officials of some of the havoc that unfolded on our region’s roadways.
