Santa Barbara Studio Artists Celebrates 25 Years of Creative Excellence with Annual Open Studios Tour

Tour Dates: Saturday–Monday, Sept. 5-7, 2026, 11-5 pm

Opening Reception: Friday, Sept. 4, 5:00–8:00 PM at the Community Arts Workshop (CAW), 631 Garden Street, Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara Studio Artists (SBSA) is proud to announce its 25th Annual Open Studios Tour, taking place over Labor Day weekend, September 5–7, 2026. This milestone silver anniversary invites art collectors and enthusiasts into the private creative sanctuaries of the Central Coast’s working artists.

The celebration begins with an Opening Reception and Preview Exhibition on Friday, Sept. 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Community Arts Workshop (CAW). In honor of the 25th anniversary, the evening will feature a special retrospective of memories from the past quarter-century. Guests will also enjoy an exclusive “first look” at representative works from all 24 participating artists, providing the perfect opportunity to curate a custom tour route for the weekend ahead.

“The 25th anniversary is a testament to the enduring bond between Santa Barbara’s artists and the community,” says SBSA President Francis Scorzelli. “The tradition of visiting an artist’s studio creates a rare personal connection, and we are honored to welcome visitors from across the country to experience the vibrancy of our local talent.”
