10TH CARPINTERIA CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT
The Carpinteria Christmas Bird Count and is in conjunction with the Audubon Society Christmas Bird Count. The data collected by observers over the past century allow Audubon researchers, conservation biologists, wildlife agencies and other interested individuals to study the long-term health and status of bird populations across the Carpinteria Coastal Plain and North America. We have fun and have a task for all who participate. This fun event is FREE to participate, and participation is open to all ages and levels of birding experience.
