About Pacific Sound Chorus:
Pacific Sound formed in late 1999 when a group of dedicated singers decided to form a new a cappella chorus, affiliated with the Barbershop Harmony Society and dedicated to high-level performance quality. Since that time, Pacific Sound has staged countless shows and performances in our local region of Southern California, thrilling thousands of attendees and attracting hoards of fans. Our performances have taken us all over California and the Western US via Barbershop Harmony conventions and competitions. Our ambition has taken us internationally as well, having performed in Russia in 2003 as a part of the St. Petersburg Barbershop Harmony Festival, and in Ireland in 2007 for the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers Festival and competition.
About Storm Front:
It has been an unbelievable journey for the 2010 International 1st Place Quartet Champions. The 2002 Rocky Mountain District champs made nine trips to the International contest stage, including Top 10 finishes each of the past six years. But on July 3, 2010, after a week of competition against the best Barbershop quartets in the world, Storm Front was awarded the elusive Gold medal!
For these four guys, the love of barbershop and great entertainment has blended to create show-stopping performances. They have been blessed to see tremendous success in their efforts. They are thankful to all the chapters and individuals who have supported them and are most especially thankful to their families and friends for the love and encouragement they provide.
They hope to be around for years to come.
This event is supported in part by The Marjorie Luke Theatre’s Drier Family Rent Subsidy Fund.
