The SB 5K Schlep brings together runners and walkers from all over Southern California, ranging from 5-90 years old, bound together in solidarity to raise awareness for breast, ovarian & prostate cancer. These BRCA cancers are the most common cancers afflicting both men and women in the world.
A certified 5K, the SB 5K Schlep brings awareness, education and research to help further breast, ovarian & prostate cancer research and treatment supporting a BRCA multi-disciplinary clinic in both Santa Barbara and Israel. This event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara, Edhat, California Property Group, CBRE, Sharsharet, El Al Airlines, UCSB Hillel, The ADL, American Self Storage and more.
