What of America’s future? Does it lie in a revised U.S. Constitution or possibly in a resuscitated and modernized U.S. Confederation? Or must we be more original? What about the oft cited – but heavily materialized – American Dream? Is America now a seven-religion country? If so, what about America becoming a genuine Republic of Conscience, despite indirectly endorsing genocide in Gaza? Or what of a regenerated America becoming one of many humble custodians of an emerging Global Conscience? Is it possible that the historically inimical forces of religion and science might become unwitting co-partners in shaping a regenerated American topography that points toward a ‘universal civilization’? If so, where do we begin?
Let’s begin by considering certain prescient forerunners of the past whose luminous sacrifices remind us of the unknown potential in man for focused, collective good. Finally, what might be America’s gift to the future, to the unfolding Aquarian centuries in which knowledge and universal ethics will perhaps be creatively bridged by a deeper understanding of an existentially replenishing “reverence for man”?
In this forum, Dr. James Tepfer will address these and more questions relevant to the future of America and the world.
