Join the White Buffalo Land Trust and Sarah Red-Laird for an informational talk about regenerative beekeeping!
After nearly a decade of thinking, talking, and teaching about bees, Sarah has come to the conclusion that there are two simple things she can do to help our bees.  One- to teach all of the children in the world to love bees. Two- to help regenerate the soil, on farms and pastures across the west and beyond, with flowers. Easy, right?!  Not really. But such a great adventure!
Attend Sarah’s talk to find out how we’ve got ourselves into our current “bee crises” situation, what solutions are under our feet, what she has achieved so far, and how you can help her succeed in her goals starting today.
About the Speaker:
Sarah Red-Laird is the founder and Executive Director of the Bee Girl organization, a nonprofit with a mission to educate and inspire communities to conserve bees, their flowers, and our countryside.  Bee Girl projects are focused on regenerative beekeeping, bee habitat research and education, and kids’ programs. She is a graduate of the University of Montana’s College of Forestry and Conservation with a degree in Resource Conservation, focused on community collaboration and environmental policy. Sarah also serves as the “Kids and Bees” program director for the American Beekeeping Federation.  To see her commitment to good policy and community collaborations realized, she also serves as acting president of the Northwest Farmers Union, and is a past president of the Western Apicultural Society. When she is not tirelessly working with bees, beekeepers, kids, farmers and ranchers, and policy makers, Sarah loves to read historical fiction, work with rescued horses, ride her bike, hike in the hills, and see new places, things, and people.
