World-renowned spiritual and social leader, author, and Benedictine nun, Sister Joan Chittister, will be speaking at Trinity, drawing on the themes in her book, The Time is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage. Pairing scriptural insights with stirring narratives of the truth-tellers that came before us, Joan Chittister offers a compelling vision to combat complacency and to propel all of us toward creating a world of justice, freedom, peace, and empowerment. Having appeared on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday show to discuss The Time is Now, Sister Joan is a sought-after speaker. With over 60 books and hundreds of articles, her clear voice reaches worldwide. Books will be sold at the event, with a book signing following the presentation.
