The first workshop in our series on Intellectual Property will take place on March 10th from 11 – 3 PM at the Community Arts Workshop. The panelists for this workshop are Matthew Berger, Diana Diaz, Ian Smith, and Casey Summar. Artists will learn to understand the basic parameters of legal ownership of their work, hear from expert lawyers in the field, hear first hand experience from an artist, and receive detailed guidance on how to protect your Intellectual Property. We will delve deeper into more specific scenarios during the afternoon breakout sessions.
