The National Association of Corporate Directors Pacific Southwest Chapter (NACD PSW) is hosting a panel along with Stanton Chase and Diligent. “Aspiring to be a Corporate Director”: Securing a Corporate Board Role will provide information for those aspiring to join a corporate board and to advance board room diversity.

The program will focus on pathways to the boardroom through the experiences of seasoned and rising directors and board members. The panelists, Karen Bogart, Melanie Cibik, Walter Delph, Raymond Link and moderator Kim L. Hunter, will outline the responsibilities of a corporate board director. It will identify key development experiences needed to be a board candidate. The panel will also outline the board search process including the mutual due diligence required to ensure a good board match. The panelists will also provide general advice given their experiences as a director and as a member of the Nominating & Governance Committee. The panel moderator will introduce related research materials from NACD’s library.
