Baking for Angels

Tickets are now available for “Baking for Angels”, an online baking class led by Meichelle Arntz, founder of Recipes Bakery and Angels Foster Care. Funds raised at the event will support Angels Foster Care infants and toddlers and the Angels Lionheart Legacy Fund. The fund, established in memory of Ezra Lionheart Fernandez, provides intensive medical, educational, and behavioral services for Angels Foster Care children. Baking for Angels will be coming to you live on Sunday, May 16, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Tickets priced at $50 or $200 are now on sale at www.angelsfostercare.org. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

In addition to the virtual baking class, $50 participants will receive a package with all the non-perishable ingredients for baking along with Meichelle as she prepares her famous Monkey Bread, a recipe card, a foil Bundt cake pan and a raffle ticket. Those who purchase a $200 ticket will receive the ingredients, recipe card, 5 raffle tickets, a bottle of wine, a designer apron, a copy of “Baking with Kim-Joy”, a deluxe Bundt cake pan and more.

The “Baking for Angels” fundraiser will support the Angels Foster Care Lionheart Legacy Fund in memory of Ezra Lionheart Fernandez, an Angels Foster Care infant who bravely battled life-threatening medical issues throughout his short life. According to Ezra’s parents, Sara and Eric Fernandez, “fostering a child with medical issues definitely has its challenges, but when there is a victory & progress made it makes it that much sweeter!”.
