A hands-on workshop centred on small-batch berry and seasonal fruit preserving—simple, vivid, and deeply satisfying.
We’ll make a seasonal jam together with berries from the Santa Barbara Farmers Market and explore how to use it: folded into a show-stopping torte, layered in Julia’s famous Hungarian shortbread recipe, or served simply and generously with British-style scones at the table.
As always, with Susan as your workshop host, this is about more than technique—it’s about confidence, intuition, and the pleasure of making and sharing food.
Includes hands-on instruction, tastings, and a shared informal meal.
