A poetry reading with featured readers Robert Krut and George Yatchisin.

Krut is the author of four books: Watch Me Trick Ghosts (Codhill/SUNY Press, 2021), The Now Dark Sky, Setting Us All on Fire (Codhill/SUNY Press, 2019), winner of the Codhill Poetry Award; This is the Ocean (Bona Fide Books, 2013), recipient of the Melissa Lanitis Gregory Poetry Award; and The Spider Sermons (BlazeVox, 2009). His poems have appeared in numerous journals, both in print and online. He teaches at the University of California, Santa Barbara in the Writing Program and College of Creative Studies, and lives in Los Angeles.

Yatchisin recently retired after a three-decade career at UC Santa Barbara teaching and marketing. He is the author of Feast Days and The First Night We Thought the World Would End. His poems have been published in journals including Antioch Review, Askew, and Zocalo Public Square. He is co-editor of the anthology Rare Feathers: Poems on Birds & Art , and his poetry appears in anthologies including Reel Verse: Poems About the Movies. You may have heard him on the radio on KCSB or read his journalism and reviews at the Santa Barbara Independent, Edible Santa Barbara, and the California Review of Books.
