Panelists will discuss climate change actions by the California State Legislature and the CA Public Utility Commission (CPUC) in a deficit year, and relate this to local impacts on climate resiliency:
- Ben Schwartz, Policy Manager, Clean Coalition
- Jefferson Litton, Energy and Climate Manager, City of Santa Barbara
- Colin Jones, League of Women Voters of Santa Barbara
Em Johnson, Director of Climate Resilience for the Community Environmental Council, will moderate the panel.
The League of Women Voters supports climate goals and policies consistent with the best available climate science to ensure a stable climate system for future generations.
