Candle Refill Day is a monthly opportunity to bring in your clean, empty candle vessel and have it refilled with a fresh, custom-blended candle.

How It Works

  1. Bring your vessel – It can be one of ours or a beloved vessel from another brand. The vessel must be completely clean and free from wax, wicks, and debris.
  2. We measure & price – We’ll determine how much wax and fragrance your vessel needs. Pricing is $2.75 per ounce.
  3. Pick your scents – Choose up to two fragrances to blend into your candle.
  4. We pour, you pick up –
    • Candles dropped off before 4 PM will be ready the same day (allow at least two hours to set).
    • Candles brought in after 4 PM will be ready for pickup the next day.

How to Clean Your Vessel for Refill

To ensure a proper refill, please make sure your vessel is completely clean. Here are a few methods to remove leftover wax:

  • Freeze the Jar – Place the jar in the freezer for a few hours. The wax will contract, making it easy to pop out with a butter knife or spoon.
  • Use Boiling Water – Pour hot (not boiling) water into the jar to melt the wax. Let it cool, then remove the hardened wax. Do not pour wax water down the sink.
  • Oven Method – Heat your oven to 150°F, place your vessel on a baking sheet, and warm for 15-30 minutes until the wax melts. Carefully pour the wax into the trash, wipe clean, and let cool before washing.
  • Wash with Warm, Soapy Water – After wax removal, scrub the jar with dish soap to remove any residue and lingering scent.

Wick & Vessel Safety

Candle creation typically requires extensive testing to ensure the wick size matches the vessel for optimal burn performance and safety. While we do our best to select the correct wick for your candle, results may vary depending on the vessel’s size, shape, and material.

We reserve the right to refuse a refill if we determine the vessel is unsafe for reuse.
