The Carpinteria Art & Craft Faire will be held on Saturday, August 5th from 10am to 4pm in the courtyard of the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center at 865 Linden Ave. This month’s featured artist is Jill Johns and her unique sea glass creations. The Ukulele Jammers will be strumming in the morning and the Americana Cats will be playing at 12:30pm. We hope you come out and support our artists and enjoy the day.
Jill Johns
Jill went to high school here in Carpinteria. What started out as a summer project for herself, and her granddaughter became a passion. Jill wraps sea glass, making necklaces and earrings. She also makes greeting cards, bags and fun art projects using scrabble tiles. Jill loves to walk the beach in Carpinteria finding gifts from the sea which she finds very relaxing and rewarding.
