Legal Aid’s only fundraiser of the year is back! Chowder Fest returns on Sunday, October 15th from 1pm-4pm at a new location, the Rancho La Patera Stow House. The first Chowder Fest was held in 2010 as a charity cook-off benefit for the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. Since then, Chowder Fest has grown into a “must attend” event for the area’s best chefs and restaurateurs vying for bragging rights of “Chowder Champ.”
Attendees taste and sample chowder and vote for their favorite choice. Other food vendors also share tasty treats. Numerous local wineries and brewers are also available for attendees to sample their finest. Enjoy live music, purchase raffle tickets, and enjoy a beautiful day supporting the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. All proceeds support Legal Aid’s mission to provide high-quality civil legal services to low-income and other vulnerable residents in order to ensure equal access to justice.
