Coal Oil Point Reserve
Coal Oil Point Reserve encompasses 170 acres of protected California coastal habitat. Join us for a beautiful walk along reserve trails to explore the wildlife that is only minutes from UCSB. We will venture from the sandy beach to coastal scrub habitat to seasonal wetlands and ponds which are still full from the rains this year. This is a great time to see local wildflowers in bloom on the reserve.
Tours are approximately 2 hours long and guides will discuss both the cultural and natural history of the reserve as well as ongoing conservation and research projects. RSVP is required. $20 donation appreciated.
