The Committee for Social Justice is proud to present our final edition in our Film Series on Homelessness. This month, our focus is on “Community, Not Capital: Empowering Voices Beyond Wealth for Unhoused Citizens.” The films in this series explore how communities can come together to support unhoused individuals without relying solely on capital-driven solutions. These films highlight the power of grassroots initiatives, shared resources, and human connections in addressing homelessness. Join us for an insightful afternoon of films that bring to light the unique challenges faced by unhoused individuals and the inspiring ways that communities can make a difference.
Following the screenings, we will host an engaging panel discussion with guest speakers, complemented by a question-and-answer session. Guests are also invited to enjoy a variety of refreshments and snacks provided at the event.
