The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management invites community members to step inside the County’s Emergency Operations Center for two special Open House events celebrating National Emergency Management Awareness Month.
Event Dates:
• Wednesday, August 12, 3:00–6:00 p.m.
• Saturday, August 29, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Visitors will tour the EOC with emergency managers who support the County during fires, storms, public safety incidents, and other emergencies. Learn how information flows during critical events, how decisions are made, and what tools and technology help keep Santa Barbara County safe.
The event also features a kid’s activity area, preparedness resources from community partners, and response equipment displays. Families, students, neighbors, and anyone interested in emergency preparedness are encouraged to attend.
