EE Makerspace - Art From Scrap

Let your imagination take the lead at Crafternoons, every Wednesday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, in the EE Makerspace above Art From Scrap.

Join us for our March Crafternoons Recycled Renaissance theme, where we explore art history’s greats through creative reuse. These hands-on workshops will inspire participants to craft unique, eco-friendly projects using upcycled and sustainable materials, perfect for all ages and skill levels.

Recycled Renaissance Crafts include:

Yayoi Kusama Flower Pins – Create funky polka dotted flower pins inspired by Japanese Contemporary Pop-Artist Yayoi Kusama.

Antoni Gaudí Towers – Explore the natural world of organic architecture by building your nature-inspired tower like the Spanish architect and designer Antoni Gaudí.

Claude Monet Water Lilies – Design your own museum-ready Impressionist collage in the style of Monet and his famous water lilies.

Come craft, create, and celebrate fabulous artists. Sign up now!

Cost: $8.00 per person. Crafternoons are for kids ages 5 and up. Please note that our workshop is upstairs and utilize hot glue guns. Adults must remain in the EE Makerspace with their child.

We have something for everyone at the EE Makerspace, so bring the kiddos— Crafternoons are just for them!
