SPIRITUAL LECTURE AND WORKSHOP
Creating Balance in a Changing World is the topic for an inspirational free public lecture with Yogacharya Amit Chatterjee, advanced disciple of Kriya Yoga Master Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. A weekend workshop will be held at an alternate site on Saturday and Sunday with instruction and practice of Kriya Yoga meditation practice.
Amit Chatterjee graduated in Electronics in 1984 from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. He completed his masters in Computer Engineering from the same university in 1985. Amit received the President of India Gold Medal from the institute in 1984, the Alumni Association Gold Medal in 1985, and the Distinguished Alumnus award in 2010.
Amit worked in the Microsoft Corporation for 30 years, spending equal time in Redmond (USA) and Hyderabad (India). He held many important positions in the company including the role of Managing Director for their India Development Center in Hyderabad. Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, instructed Amit to guide meditations in 2014 and to teach Kriya Yoga in 2018. In January 2019 he decided to leave Microsoft so that he fully could serve his Guru’s mission.
Kriya Yoga is nonsectarian and can be practiced by all people regardless of religious affiliation. All sincere seekers are invited to take initiation into Kriya Yoga meditation practice at a weekend workshop, November 2 & 3 in Santa Barbara. During initiation, a purification ceremony will be performed to infuse the triple divine qualities of light, sound and vibration into each participant.
