We should realize in a vivid and revolutionary sense that we are not in our bodies but our bodies are in us.
~ Ruth St. Denis ~

Kimba Jade, from New Zealand, is our guest Minister of Music this Sunday as we continue celebrating the power of feminine medicine with a woman DJ each week in July! She says, “My main energy is fun! So, I play a range of music that stimulates the smile and the heart. I love to read the energy of the room and choose my music accordingly.  I’m not afraid to go out on a limb and shift the flow; going with the flow is what I love to do. I also love all things deep, so expect a bit of lightness and darkness as this really is what we are all about – the balance of the light and dark within ourselves and loving ourselves.

What I love most about ecstatic dance is looking around the room and seeing the smile on people’s faces and knowing that they are on a journey that I am facilitating, it brings me so much joy watching everyone’s unique dance that shows who they are and what they are feeling.

For me, ecstatic dance is about moving, stimulating, and opening the body and the heart; bringing about change within people, as well as for myself, to assist the new earth movement, honoring mother earth and peace within us.

I am also an energetic healer, kinesiologist, and I work with the light. I assist people to get to where they strive to be in their lives. I create a special space for the light to shine within everyone on the dance floor. My intention is to spread joy, love and happiness through my healing hands, music and dance. To create and hold a space where people can be themselves! I have traveled from New Zealand because I am following my purpose and I am so strongly looking forward to connecting with you all in Santa Barbara. Namaste.”
