Come celebrate with the DAR, as we prepare for the 250th Anniversary year of our Nation’s founding, culminating in 2026.
This patriotic fun-filled event will be held on July 3rd, 4-6 pm, on the lower level of the Central Library’s Plaza. There will be music, handouts and treats.
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Mission Canyon Chapter, will be handing out flags, flag pins, popcorn, games, candy and more. The DAR will be joined by the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), and members of the Genealogical Society. Find out if you may have a patriot ancestor.
Come have your picture taken with stand-up figures of George Washington and Ben Franklin, or with one of the DAR and SAR members in period costumes.
A great start to your 1st Thursday and your 4th of July weekend.
