Join Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County for a networking and learning opportunity.
Poor youth of color are disproportionately suspended or expelled from school and incarcerated in Santa Barbara County. Once they are system involved, they tend to stay in the system.
Come meet Santa Barbara County organizations working towards social justice equity. Connie Alexander and Audrey Gamble of Gateway Educational Services and Christy Stillwell of SB Teen Legal Clinic will share about local initiatives to disrupt the school to prison pipeline.
