Dos Pueblos High School Elings Performance Arts Center
The Dos Pueblos Instrumental Music Program is proud to present Jazz in Paradise, our 53rd Annual Jazz Festival. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Elings Performing Arts Center on the campus of Dos Pueblos High School. Talented jazz bands from schools and colleges all around the central and south coast will participate in a competition, judged by some of the most experienced music educators in Southern California. The students also receive valuable instruction throughout the day. The festival will culminate with an evening concert that is open to the public.
We are excited to announce Alex Iles as our featured guest artist this year. Alex will conduct a mid-day Master Class for all festival contestants. Later that evening at 7 pm, he will be accompanied by Dos Pueblos High School’s Jazz Band and Santa Barbara City College’s Lunchbreak Band for an amazing concert. Tickets will be sold at the door.
