EE Makerspace - Art From Scrap
Learn the art of neighborhood sustainability and imagination! In this brand-new offering of kids’ programming in the EE Makerspace, we are collaborating with Guest Artist Gemma Cooper to create native flower seed bombs and garden collages. Children will learn about local flowers and plants in the Santa Barbara area and use recycled paper to create seed bombs to share in their neighborhood.
In a reflection project, kids will create collages out of reclaimed materials that explore what their dream garden would look like.
All materials are provided and children will leave with several seed bombs and a collage they have made. Ages 5+.
