SBCC School of Extended Learning, Career Skills Institute

New class! Come learn how ecological landscape design can positively transform daily living and the environment. In this 4-session short course, learn how to apply ecological and environmental principles to design sustainable landscapes. This course covers an introduction to the design method and process along with the basic hands-on ecological landscaping tools necessary to build and maintain a regenerative landscape. Ecological Landscape Design 2 is offered April 26 – May 5. Students who successfully complete both courses receive an entry level ecological landscape certificate granted by the State of California.

Ecological Landscape Design 1 takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 12 – April 21. Classes will be held 5:30 PM – 7:50 PM.
