End of Summer Free Family Day – California Nature Art Museum

Join the California Nature Art Museum (calnatureartmuseum.org) for a free-admission, end-of-summer Family Day on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 10am until 3pm at 1511-B Mission Drive, Solvang CA 93463.

This annual event invites visitors to bring the whole family and enjoy free admission to the Museum and participate in a variety of art-and-nature inspired activities.

Create your own bee-themed hanging wall art (10am-12pm), make friends with a lizard, snake, or tortoise from Mahni’s Reptiles (11am-Noon), enjoy free face or hand painting (1pm-3pm), shake paws with pets available for adoption and looking for their FURever-homes from the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society (all day), and wonder at live honeybees in an observation hive from Santa Barbara Hives (all day).

Also, wander through the Museum and enjoy the typical delights of our newest exhibits! The annual End-of-Summer Family Day has something for everyone!

Kids are naturally some of the world’s most innovative environmental stewards, and we are proud to offer free admission, free school field trips, and free children’s craft workshops year-round.
