About the talk:

 

Curtis will be sharing lessons learned from construction in extreme environments, such as Western Australian mining and his experience building a refinery in Tioga, ND. In addition to how professionals are approaching Lunar development and working to inspire the next generation of engineers through film.

 

About the speaker:

Curtis Rodgers is a Partner at Brick & Mortar Ventures, Founder of The Society for Construction Solutions, and an engineering technology advisor to R3 Sustainability — a water developer. Curtis developed his passion for construction as an engineer at Kiewit and led process improvement for projects in the defense, mining, energy, infrastructure, and commercial markets before transitioning into finance. Curtis co-hosted the NASA Centennial 3D Printed Habitat Challenge in 2016, and lectured for the US DOE’s Project Leadership Institute in 2017 and 2018.
