BEYOND THE BRIDGE is an ambitious documentary film about solutions to homelessness. The film team traveled over 40,000 miles around the US to answer this question: How can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way? Join us for a screening and post discussion with the filmmakers, Don Sawyer and Tim Hashko, founder of Housing First Model, Dr. Sam Tsemberis, Cooper Housing Institute’s, Will Cooper, and UCSB professor, Clayton Nall as well as a reception and internship opportunity fair with local nonprofits and UCSB’s Career Services.
Who should attend: UCSB Students, city leaders, influencers, policy makers, advocates, researchers, anyone interested in solving one of our nation’s largest and most critical crises.
