First Thursday February Extravaganza!

State Gallery + YI Shop are excited for February’s artistic offerings! State Gallery has Barbara Parmet & Steven Gilbar on the walls. Barbara Parmet features her Levitation series, and Steven Gilbar with his unique, mixed media collage works. The YI Shop is collaborating this month with Santa Barbara High School’s VADA Academy to showcase their students creativity. VADA Juniors present the creative results of their foray into acrylic and oil painting as well as photography. With work ranging from meticulous life-like study to wildly expressive abstractions, conceptual to character design – VADA students showcase inventive and skillful works demonstrating the impressive outcome of hard work and daily studio practice. Many works for sale. We are thrilled to see everyone from 5-8pm on Thursday February 7th at the State Gallery + YI Shop. Join us for art, music, beverages and great company. Youth Interactive is located in Santa Barbara’s downtown Arts District, across the street from the historic Granada Theatre. Located at 1219 State Street gallery hours are Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 6pm, Sunday’s 11am to 5pm.
