A salon is a gathering of people held by an inspiring host. During the gathering they amuse one another and increase their knowledge through conversation. Salons are an important place for the exchange of ideas.

This event is one of my ways of  healing the damage the isolation of the last year has caused so many.

About me: A former NYer (sassy but without most of the accent). I work in food sales, am a foodie, an avid traveler, a comedian, actor, writer and event producer. I love to learn about new ideas and share deep conversations. I’ll make you laugh and maybe we will all make new friends.

Meeting beforehand will give us a little more time to get to know each other while learning about a local distillery and enjoying some delicious cocktails. I also like how alcohol can help us come out of our shells.

Industrial Eats is a quality-centered dining experience tucked away in a re-purposed warehouse on Industrial Way in Buellton, California.

It’s tattooed with produce and grocery graffiti on its exterior wall and boasts a craft butcher counter filled with house made treats and extensive indulgences. Two wood fired ovens churn out thousands of seasonal dishes every year, all sourced from sustainable farms and food pioneers. The restaurant is filled with knick knacks and books lining the walls – collected from years of odd hobbies and cultivated impulse buying – and rows of communal tables full of patrons chatting and eyeing their neighbor’s meals.

The owners, Jeff and Janet Olsson, along with their expert crew, value bringing people together through a shared feasting environment by serving respectfully honest great food.

Our Evening Together:

We will start our time at Industrial Eats in the back kitchen doing a Chef’s Table kind of experience; where we will gather around a preparation table. The kitchen staff will be making our appetizer. Our chef and restaurant owner, Jeff Olsson, will be there and we hope to get some time to talk and do a Q&A with him.

Then we will move to our outdoor table (weather permitting) and begin our time of connection while our 3 courses of classical French cuisine will be served.

My role, as your host, is to facilitate interesting  and fun conversations while promoting the importance of human relationships.

My vision for our time together is to eat sumptuous food, connect with new people and learn something new.
