The Santa Barbara Blues Society will proudly be presenting at our next show former native and blues hero Mitch Kashmar and his band on Saturday, May 31 at the historic Carrillo Recreation Center in downtown Santa Barbara at 100 East Carrillo Street.
Mitch Started the Pontiax in 1980. The band became popular all around the West Coast, both on their own and backing many blues legends. Mitch Kashmar is considered one of the best blues vocalist and harmonica players.
Opening the show will be Santa Barbara’s own internationally known acoustic country blues duo, Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan.
Doors open at 7 pm, presale ticket holders enter at 6:45 pm. Opening act is at 7:15 pm and the band starts at 8 pm with one intermission.
