Learn about the historic Stellafane telescope-makers club, during a free talk at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History presented by the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit. Formed in the early 1920s by Arctic explorer, architect, and astronomy enthusiast Russell Porter, the club has been meeting regularly for 100 years in Springfield, Vermont.

Speaking about the history of this organization, its wonderful members, and the telescopes they produced, Mario Motta, Ph.D., will remotely address our in-person audience in the Museum’s Farrand Auditorium via Zoom from the East Coast.
