Free Contra Dance to celebrate Chopped Liver Band’s 20th Anniversary. 6:30-9:30pm at the Carrillo Ballroom on January 26th. Chopped Liver Band will play and jacqui Grennan will call. A free 20 minute Contra Dance lesson will also be offered for those new to Contra Dancing.
Chopped Liver is a local contra- and English country dance band whose repertoire includes a wide range of traditional and original tunes, performed in a lively and unique manner. Band members Michael Mendelson (fiddle), Suzanne Duffy (flute), Jeff Spero (piano), and Bill Flores (banjo, mandolin, dobro, tenor sax)
This free dance in honor of the band Chopped Liver and is offered because of donations from regular Contra Dancers.
