The Santa Barbara Strummers, a group of local musicians playing and singing with ukuleles and guitars, are presenting a free Holiday Sing-Along on Sunday, December 8 from 2 – 4 pm at the newly renovated Plaza Del Mar Bandshell at 131 Castillo Street. The Parc Foundation Santa Barbara is sponsoring this event.
The group will perform a selection of popular holiday songs and carols including “Jingle Bells,” “Feliz Navidad,” “I Have a Little Dreidel,” and “Joy to the World.”
Song books with the lyrics will be available to audience members, and everyone is encouraged to sing along with the musicians.
This event is perfect for children and adults alike, and promises to be a memorable musical journey as we welcome the holiday season. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, remember to dress warmly, and feel free to bring a thermos of a hot beverage to enjoy.
