Covering 14 points of interest in a little under two hours, your guide will cover the history of Old Town Santa Barbara (400, 500, and 600 blocks of State St) and the transition from 1850 to the present day.  We will also talk about those events that ushered in the Spanish-Colonial style of architecture, make our way over to the Brinkerhoff Victorian district and the ghosts of Ogle House, and finally, visit three of local architect Jeff Shelton’s residential projects, including the famous “Dr. Seuss” house.  Optional wine tasting vouchers available for $12; redeemable at Santa Barbara Winery. The tour starts out in front of Tondi Gelato, 711 State St.
