Students in grades six through 12 who are ready to turn their climate concerns into action are invited to a free, hands-on workshop at CEC’s Environmental Hub. Join the Community Environmental Council (CEC) and Santa Barbara High School’s Environmental Advocacy Club to explore local climate challenges, learn about solutions happening in our community, and discover how young people can make a difference.
Through interactive activities and conversations, participants will connect with peers, explore pathways for climate action, and build practical tools for making an impact in their schools and communities.
Our annual policy panel, moderated by Ethan Maday from 805 Action, includes Santa Barbara City Council members Oscar Gutierrez and Meagan Harmon, along with Nadra Ehrman from the SB County Board of Education.
Students will leave with new connections, fresh ideas, and concrete ways to get involved — plus free snacks and community service hours
