FROM MUCK TO MAGIC– An Uplifting Journey

Chaucer’s Bookstore is delighted to host Ojai artist and storyteller, Wendi Knox, for a magical and uplifting evening.
Knox is intimately acquainted with MUCK. At age fifty, an unexpected life circumstance knocked the former award-winning copywriter and creative director down, and she lost her prestigious career. Knox called upon the Universe for help and “a sign” that she would prevail this mammoth loss. Shortly after that, she says she experienced a magical visitation from hundreds of red dragonflies that appeared in her yard. What she learned from them was so life-changing, she said she couldn’t keep it to herself!
Knox wrote and illustrated from Muck to Magic– An Uplifting Journey, a unique storybook that helps us to change the stories we tell ourselves. With heart, art, and humor, Knox will share the fascinating story behind this book. She promises to offer inspiring tips to help you turn your own muck to magic. She hopes you can “wing it”.
