Gallery Los Olivos is pleased to present “Personal Point of View”, a two artist exhibition on view through the month of October.
The exhibition brings two distinct artistic voices, each exploring a deeply personal relationship with the natural world and the ways nature shapes how we see, feel, and create.
“Personal Point of View” is rooted in the idea that while we may stand before the same landscape, no two people experience it in quite the same way. Nature is filtered through memory, emotion, place, and personal history, becoming something uniquely our own.
Through their individual bodies of work, Karen and Carrie offer different perspectives on their connection to the environment. Their pieces reflect not simply what is seen in nature, but what is felt: the changing light, movement, color, texture, quiet moments, and emotional connections that develop through time spent observing the world around us.
The exhibition invites visitors to consider their own relationship with the natural world and the experiences that shape the way they see it.
