Let local herbalist Emily Sanders take you on a tour through the medicinal and edible plants of the Gaviota Coast at the Gaviota Wind Caves.

You learn about the medicinal and culinary uses of herbs, trees, and shrubs that grow in our own backyard. Safe plant id and ethical wild crafting with be taught, along with easy to make herbal remedies for everyday ailments.

To keep our participants safe during COVID-19, we are making sure to follow the CDC’s and local health department’s regulations for public health and safety.

We are currently requiring that all participants wear face coverings and continue to social distance. We are also promoting hand washing or sanitizing before and after our walks, to ensure that we keep everyone healthy in our group.
