Housing for Humanity: Economic Argument Against Criminalization of Unhoused Citizens

The Committee for Social Justice is proud to present the fifth edition in our Film Series on Homelessness. This month, our focus is on ‘Housing for Humanity: Economic Argument Against Criminalization of Unhoused Citizens.’ We will feature a selection of films that poignantly depict the challenges faced by unhoused individuals in relation to the societal and economic impacts of their criminalization and the benefits of supportive housing initiatives.

Following the screenings, we will host an engaging panel discussion with guest speakers, complemented by a question-and-answer session. Guests are also invited to enjoy a variety of refreshments and snacks provided at the event.

We are thrilled to announce that Paul Boden, Executive Director of the Western Regional Advocacy Project, will be our keynote speaker.
