Fruit tree expert Brandi Rohr will explain how to keep fruit trees small, productive, and easy to harvest through simple pruning and training techniques. This talk is perfect for beginners, as well as experienced gardeners. She will cover smart variety selection, planting for tight spaces, year-round care, and tips for staggering ripening times so you can enjoy fresh fruit for months. Brandi is a horticulture professional with more than 30 years of experience and a Certified Arborist with deep roots in environmental consulting. She works for Dave Wilson Nursery, the largest fruit, nut, and shade tree nursery in the nation.
This is the monthly FREE meeting of the Santa Barbara County Horticultural Society. A plant raffle takes place after the meeting. Please consider joining the Society for only $30/year. Free garden tours are a benefit of membership.
