Santa Barbara’s premier Polynesian dance group Hula Anyone is excited to announce their fall concert on Saturday October, 1st featuring special guest musician from Oahu, Walt Keale!

Hula Anyone’s roots in Santa Barbara date back to the 1960s, providing a nurturing platform for ages 4-84 years old to learn traditional dance forms. The fluid, adaptive nature of Hula Anyone has helped to keep all the dances original, dynamic and fresh and their concerts provide an intimate setting for all ages to enjoy live music, storytelling, singing and hula dancing.

This year’s fall concert will take place at the historic Alhecama Theatre and Hula Anyone is thrilled to welcome back special guest artist Walt Keale from Oahu. A nephew to Hawaiian music legend Uncle Moe Keale and first cousin to Skippy and Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole, Keale’s music is described as “bold and unconventional, having taken it in a fresh and imaginative direction”. A musician and Kahu (spiritual leader), Keale brings forward the legacy of his family’s rich Hawaiian history through his music.

Tickets are $45 and seating is limited. Please contact us for more details or to purchase tickets – info@hulanyone.com or 805-451-0589. We can’t wait for you to join us and enjoy the evening with the music and stories of Walt Keale and Hula Anyone’s delightfully original dances!
